    Cause . was from the shearing/stamping of the multi layer cowl junction block. the process left Whiskers that could in time contact certain adjoining circuits ..pic is of the engine block but same style

    all ecus are different , for a number of reasons , best to stick with the part number on yours . ( the keys it comes with will not turn in your lock . so the will electrically unlock the ecu to add your keys as masters . it take a little work to remove the pick up coil from the key cylinder in...

    ecu /ecm same thing . box that controls engine is needed . HKS makes stand alone ecu systems to control the engine , but not cheep , a while back toyota had a Marine division that had a stand alone ecu for the 4.7 for boats . there are some of those ecus around .

    i wired my own , in the 55 some time ago . there are 2 shops that do 3.4 swap harness .ORS , and Toy only swaps . i have not seen anyone advertise a 4.7 harness . . i was waiting to see if anyone else had some good leads . we do quite a bit here in utah , tons of 3.4 swaps , some old 1uz...

    second on the BG kudos ,, have used them in the shop i own for 10 years + , never had any issues ,,. flashing light on a 2uz is a current misfire . most likely a coil or a spark plug , not to be driven on far without possible cat damage .

    your number is either a older or newer number , i did not keep all the cross ref numbers just the current one , Fyi the pulleys which are 4.7 only application will be gone as well soon . i bought all i could find last month . gotta keep my 2uz fj55 on the road for ever .

    OK , so yes there are no more belts fro the 4.7 s/c ... gates has a belt in there racing division ,# k061037 rpm . napa global shows they can get them ,i have had 2 on order for the last 2 months . the 4.7 has 2 belts one is a ptr30-34046 which is 2700 long . and ptr30-35110 whicj is 2630 mm...
