Roverrad95- people are posting lists of LA businesses in this thread. Would you mind posting the business to which you are referring? (Why PM? I'm sure the guy would appreciate the free advertising if you just posted it here).
Hello Everyone,
Time to wrap this up and see what Robbie thinks about coming down to SoCal!
Robbie has contacted me and indicated that, if he comes to SoCal, it will be for 2 weeks after Thanksgiving weekend, so let's say approximately 12/1/10 - 12/14/10.

OK, guys, one last post to see if there's any new interest before I contact members who've expressed interest and try to get a count of how many are ready to go through with it.
Again, just to clarify: If you'd like more information, just click on my username and use the "Send email to...
TheFuzz- Robbie is considered by many on the forums to be one of the best Landcruiser mechanics out there. He can tackle anything from axle regearing to ARB installs to engine rebuilds. Formerly with Slee, he now works for himself.
Here's a link to some posts from him in the 100-series section...
I've received some PMs, so just to clarify: If you'd like more information, just click on my username and use the "Send email to alaskacruiser" link to contact me instead of the "Send private message to alaskacruiser" link. I need email contact so that I can reply with the attachments I have...
I am posting a thread here in the 100-series section to gauge interest in having Robbie (AKA powderpig, legendary Landcruiser mechanic formerly with Slee) down in the SoCal area (LA/OC/Riverside/surrounding counties/San Diego, and anybody who wants to drive in from elsewhere) to work his magic...
This seems like a key thing to mention, regardless of what the dealer said. My bet is the same or another problem with this system. If your dealer fixed it once, they may be your best bet to get to the bottom of it.
dakota1975- here are some posts from a quick search for AHC problems here on the 100 series forum:

NMuzj100- good point about the limited space between the rear and the 3rd row- hadn't thought about that. Looking at this particular extreme offset, it's tough to tell how much of the Extreme's frame was involved, but (from what little I can tell) it appears the front quarter panel and part of...
NMuzj100- if you reread my previous post, you'll see that I am not saying that more mass isn't advantagous in an accident, but rather that less damage isn't necessarily a good thing if the crumple zones are involved, as long as the safety cage maintains its integrity. Greater mass and crumple...
MARCVS- glad to hear you are ok. I don't know if I'd be so happy about the relative lack of damage to the LX in this case. A common mindset among Cruiser owners (really truck owners in general) is how tough their vehicle is and so it "wins" in an accident. This isn't always a good thing- if...
1. TPS
2. AHC (if equipped)
3. Navi with integrated climate control (if equipped)
Now you're probably gonna tell me I can only choose certain model year (2002 or under) or types of 100s (no LXs) to take down on such an expedition, or how I can mod a 100 to eliminate these problems (like get...
My .02: for those of you looking to add a lift / bigger tires while still wanting to be able to fit in the average parking garage, consider removing your roof rack to regain an additional 2.5" to 3". That's what I did when I installed an OME 850/860 (heavy front/medium rear) combo on my 80 and...
