    My 2006 LC100 170K Baselining Project

That's an extensive list. I guess we'll see you in a couple months after you get all that stuff replaced? I am curious of your thoughts of the 200 vs 100 so far. Something worth including for baselining is suspension stuff. All those rubber bits get real worn out and contribute to a...

    Suspension fluid best brand

With something like the AHC, I wouldn't mess with anything other than Toyota's AHC fluid. Looks like the smaller bottles aren't available here in the U.S. (08886-81221) but the bigger metal container is available under this part number: 08886-01805

    Huracan Fabrication Tailgate Storage Installation

Great looking install. I always have the same questions about these things: 1. How is it to sit on the tailgate now? Thats one of my favorite things about the cruiser and I would hate to lose that feature 2. Have you loaded it up with gear and opened the tailgate? I'm assuming its gonna swing...

    Windshield and sunroof conundrum

I second @hoser’s suggestion for the sudsy water. I just wanted to recommend not using Toyota parts deal. I’ve heard lots of issues with them and poor customer service. You should be able to get better prices and service from PartSouq (Located in UAE) and McGeorge Toyota. There are others as well.

Introduction, Baseline & Half a Year Owning the LX470

Nice finish to the install. Mine is still unattached in the glovebox. I've been meaning to move it to the center console and maybe have it take the place of the stuck CD player.

    Rust Prevention?

Here is a test this guy did: BUT, this is his most recent update with PB Blaster: Watch if you're curious. This guy ultimately recommends PB Blaster Surface Shield. Its a new product that isn't available widespread evidently. I got Fluid Film 2 years ago and NH Oil last year. NH Oil...

    Rear axle leak?

Yep, it’s a small leak from the AHC hardline that runs next to the gas tank. Looks like it leaks down onto the rear control arm and blows back onto the spring when driving. The AHC fluid is about a centimeter below the MIN line in High. I’m happy I already have the parts, but not happy to do...

    Rear axle leak?

@medtro was away for a week and it sat in the garage. First time noticing this leak. @beatle_bayly yeah I have the oil a good sniff, didn’t have a strong gear oil smell. Which is leading me to believe the rear AHC line job is coming sooner rather than later 😔 I’m going to clean up oil and...

    Rear axle leak?

Haven’t driven in a week. Came home to a small oil puddle nearby the DS rear tire. Looks like oil is dripping off of the rear control arm. I can’t really tell what’s leaking because of the oily undercoating. Before I start cleaning up a ton of oil, any ideas? AHC or Axle leak?

Blackstone Oil Report Repository - Share Your 2UZ Reports

Just got my report back. Engine looks good. I forgot to provide them with the interval, it was 5,976 miles. Transmission looks like that was probably its first oil change. I only did a drain and fill.

    A/C not working display error

it’s pretty hard to get to without taking some stuff out. I did look down there and it seems I have everything plugged in. But my model is slightly different since I have an 06 model. (Photo from an eBay listing below)

    A/C not working display error

I dont remember but I'm almost certain something should be plugged in there. I'll see if I can get eyes on it next time I drive.

    A/C not working display error

Search for "check the connection of air conditioner" in this forum and you'll find lots of threads. Although, I've never seen your configuration with a nav screen and a aftermarket radio below. I wonder if that has anything to do with it. I can give you what I remember as possible culprits...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Got the coolant temp up to 218°F on the scangauge sitting in traffic for 40 minutes this weekend. It was 85°F outside. AC button blinked and was disabled. Putting in neutral and revving engine helped it cool down immediately to like 200°F and the AC came back on. Was not fun. Normally the...

    100's with aftermarket wheels?

So are wheel spacers only for aesthetics? It's something I never thought about but when I see a 100 with a nice stance, its normally one with spacers.
