Thule Aero Bars. They look great but very pricey. I am going to put them on the 2005 Garnet truck as I am getting ready to sell the Thunder Cloud 2002.
Yea, find a soft plastic scraping tool and pick a hot day in the sun. Sweat it out and gently pry is off in little parts. Rubbing alcohol should then remove the adhesive. Ebay has lots of kits to replace it in endless color choices. Some prefer them left off. It depends on the truck and...
NON ISSUE!!! If the body is perfect which I suspect it is then I don't see anything scary. It is not a beauty queen but certainly not anything to keep from buying it. If you are handy you can mitigate most of that laying under it with a wire brush attachment on a power drill then prime it...
I ordered the cheapest set I could from eBay for $130 just to try them. They are not real wood but match my 1997 interior perfectly. Exact same shade. I think I am going to run with it since I can replace only the faded parts. "wowmystore" on the bay sold me the "newport burl" kit for...
I am working on my 97 with tan/brown two tone interior so I ordered the Newport burl. I think that dark gray/black wood option might look great on a gray interior.
Curious to see you samples. I found a cheap set on Ebay. I only need a few parts to finish my 1997 40th so I am hoping I picked the right color. I made an offer for a 20% discount and was surprised to see them take it. I hope I get lucky with the match.
I have a 2002 with wood. It is a...
thunder Cloud is almost impossible to match. I did the EXACT same thing. The Toyota bottle DID NOT MATCH. It was too dark. No idea other than take it to a large store that may have the camera that analyzes the actual paint on the truck and get a custom pint mixed for you.
I vote for a nice Sienna. Great car on a budget. Holds its value. You can pay cash, keep saving money and then trade up to the Cruiser you want. You will save money on insurance and tires as well with a Sienna van.
Glad you are back in the LC world. Your 01 inspired my 02 upgrades. I still have your silver BFG tires photo on my album of photos. Good luck with the new one.
Three sit in the garage most of the time and the LX and new 2005 will travel about 2 miles round trip per day. I have an LS430 that gets 26 mph for work, so I figure our carbon footprint is less per year than a Prius driving 50 miles per day:)
So, like most of us I am always looking for the grail LC. Low mile, one owner, rust free. In my years of 80 and 100 ownership I have seen a few out there. Most were far away and quickly snapped up. I lamented each time I saw one how lucky and quick the buyer must have been.
I have a 125k mile...
