I searched but could not find a write-up on this. Lots of 80 series write-ups.
I picked up the $405 part from toyota yesterday. Any help greatly appreciated.

ARB discontinued bringing these racks to the US because there were 3 different hole patterns (distance) for the US 100 series between 98-07.
I do not know if you specified your bolt pattern they can special order the exact roof rack.
Kurt used another rack for his Hundy build - check out his...
I get solid 16.5 with 33s and a RTT at 6-9K feet elevation and going through passes. The trick is smooth slow acceleration and keeping the inertia as previously mentioned. I also do not go past 2100 rpm getting to cruising speed. I really think that my RTT is improving my mpg. It is like a...
The first Powder Coater I called in the phone book was quick to quote $100 / wheel. The next one quoted $120 for 4 plus $60 for the prep. I know that we all need to make the $. I just hate it when we get raped...
Needless to say I have informed Expert tires and Big O about his services and...
Mine gave in at about 187K. I was driving it gently 90 miles to the dealership in Idaho Falls... went through 2 serious mountain passes just fine and then the tranny finally failed 1.5 miles from the dealership. Had to get it towed the next 1.5 miles...
All in all, around $3K. That was 72K...
Joined the blacked out wheel trend.
Powder Coated in Casper, WY for $120 + $60 sandblasting + $40 for Expert Tires to take off tires and remount. Total: $220 for 4.
Satin Black - matched the ARB pretty well.

Will do the spare when I get Slee'd or BIOR'd in the rear...
Trying to figure out whether this was an intentional gash or caused by road hazard... Discovered it in Park City... Drove it another 400 miles waiting for it to pop.
Taking it to BigO this afternoon... Will keep it as the spare.
Why would someone slash the thread and not the sidewall...?
Installed Slee 2nd battery tray and picked up second platinum battery ($180 sale at local Sears). Main bat is the 31M and aux batt is the 34 size. Would have liked if it can be switched around... It would be nice to have the 31M as the aux batt. Also installed new hood struts. Never knew...
I really liked the side rails on my 60 series. A couple years ago, ARB US was not bringing them. I believe they were just available "special order," which took 1-3 months of waiting. I too was glad to see Kurt's 100 build-up going the ARB route. As he stated, although not a slider, not all...
When it happens, not if, then it would be a good time to regear and do the locker thing.
Any other doom and gloom things in store for our high mileage rigs?
At the end of the day, they are one awesome piece of work - let's keep convincing ourselves of this...
I'm about 50K miles ahead of the group... The front diff won't happen to my 00, they were 98-99 2-pin issues.
However, everything that is supposed to happen is happening at a quarter million miles or 400,000 clicks.
Still lots of miles and years to look forward to. My 72 Piggy is still going...
I started having the immobilizer problem on my Hundy...
I packed myself with a box of brand new 20a blade fuses and logged 90 miles RT on the Greys River road. Camping was great, ex and kid had a blast, Hundy behaved...
And then while out there, I replaced my hood struts.
