I'm running AHC, even with E-rated, ride is tolerable.
Acceleration is acceptable, braking adequate.
I have deflated the spare and that seems to be working.

Opening up an older thread, but currently looking at these exact tires and in this size range on my '04 LX. Long story short had to buy Cooper STT PRO MTs 275/70/18 during COVID and while they look bad a$$ and are tough as nails, daily driving them sucks... Also concur on not fitting great in...
This thread is EXACTLY why I love this place!
Had the wobble with the rearview mirror. Initially tried tightening the exterior screw, no joy. Realized after investigation that the black base attached to the windshield was loose too. Unscrewed the mirror and the metal clip/spring fell out...
Just upgraded tires, had the steering rack replaced, some other rubber bits and alignment. Alas, my wheel is about 12 degrees to the left. I'm going to give this a shot. Thanks!
Following this discussion as an LRA is high on my list of next mods. Still debating what size to go with and 2nd and 3rd order effects of a rear bumper with swing-outs. My goal is to eventually move the LX out of daily status, but for now, it is my DD.
Thanks for the writeup!
I'm definitely going this route when the times comes. Already been through AHC with new OEM springs, Slee 30mm spacers, Pleiades and flush. I probably didn't need the spacers for daily driving, but when loaded with a 7-8 people or some cargo it does make a difference!
