So I may have been out of the loop, but is not said avatars the current/old design? That's the one I like. I have those old stickers on each of the cruisers (even my old Troopy :))
Rob, I didn't like the flag thing at first, but really grew on me. What are you thinking vs. the flag? Not...
Rob, I know :( I took this new role at the company about 2+ years (crap, maybe almost 3 now) and it has never been the same since. I've only ever worked for 2 companies my whole career, but I am very much thinking it is time for a change. I effectively live in CO now, travel all the time...
I was walking around last Saturday at Pavillions and almost had a tinge of want looking at the Supras that were showing up. Shook my head, I'm much more of the All-Trac Turbo Celica kind of guy :) I think I would be surprised at them camping, but I often stand jaw agape at new things I see...
If you open it up to all Toyotas you ain't gonna be camping, all you'll get is the 4WD crowd. I'm ALL for making it further north/in altitude for cooler weather any day but again you'll limit participation. Rising Sun does this in a lot in urban hell.
Mine's a cookie- cutter ARB'd/Slee'd white 2004 w/75k miles rolling on 16s when I'm around Phil :)
OK Phil, spill the beans, why the shyness on said topic?
I've parked on the NorthWest corner with the "minitrucks" lot with my Troopy and have had swarms of people walk up, I've never been frowned-upon, nor have the Mercs or tuners (at least that I've seen). Anyway the not for sale rules are rarely followed.
We don't want to make a yard sale do...
I'm cleaning out the garage big-time. Thinking about selling the Hundy. CL & autotrader &c have few if any 100s for sale. When we were buying one last year there were folks flying from all over to buy them from AZ and none were avail.
Good time to sell here? (relatively of course...)
Word of advise drop the idea of the diesel swap. It's cool & all, but you spend f'ing boatloads of $ on any engine swap and you won't $-wise make out ahead with fuel savings. Just not worth it.
Now tranny swap? Whole 'nother story. I'm trying to sell most of my cruisers now, but when done...
Yeah, generally it is our new fiscal year in June and time to drive up the sales pipeline. With fam of 5, I need a few million miles nowadays to even go anywhere; of course I'm driving right now, too bad Toyota doesn't grant you Frequent Toyota Miles.
Wait a minute, maybe I should propose that...
With my 4 hours of non-work per day (for sleep) there's no way I'll be able to get anything done by Saturday, much less June. I'll be watching however if still avail. thereafter.
