   Ok, so I looked all round for months to find Part# 85440-60160 (24v vacuum solenoid) which I pulled from my truck (I'm currently flipping the vacuum lines to switch bwteen 2wd & 4wd), with no luck at all, and decided to just pickup Part# 88690-89132 (12v magnet valve) from a mini-truck. I've...

   24v questions, vac solenoids & headlights

   Did anyone ever figure out this (Has anyone tried the 12v vac solenoid valves on a 24v system?)? I just spoke with an electrician friend of mine that said most solenoids he has used are actually rated 0-30v no matter if labeled 12v or 24v, which made me think we could just use the $17 one for...
