    Sounds like a loose battery connection. Fusible link also could be at issue. If it is tye 24V starter you need to disconnect BOTH batteries when working on it to disable power.

    I got one for my Jdm HJ61 from Dan at 4Wheel Auto his part number was 1344. Was new and $546 Canadian. You might score one from Sheldon at G&S Cruisers, or Barry at JCruisers. It's a tougher one to find!

    My 61 batteries only have 2 posts each. Group 78i believe. I think I could fit 34s though. They are situated as follows: -+ radiator +- Starter would do it of course, where did you get it serviced and source a starter?
