    the nicolet has a ton of dnr-maintained remote campsites. you need a state park sticker or daily permit to use them tho...and they do check! also, there are a ton of little clearings off random logging roads everwhere in the nicolet...just hard to find!

    as of right now it looks as if i may be going up with a few buddies.....so i will either wheel my fullsize or just meet up with you guys at camp afterwards. either way i will be spending the night at my cottage in townsend, so i'm not worried about camping, etc
