    The motor from a third gen (85710-35090) has a reverse layout so it doesn’t look like it would work.

    Did a quick weekend trip to the Lost Coast with @landcrshr, @TYM4FUN, and @vipergrhd. A F150 was blocking Usal Rd. shortly after the beach turnoff, so ended up going around to 101, headed north, and camped in Humbolt Redwood State Park the second night.

    At least if I keep trying, I’ll get a “hit.” I’ve gotten pretty good at swapping them out. Those ratcheting wrenches are worth their weight in gold.

    So I take it options are limited… What about repairing the original motor? Anyone know how you would go about diagnosing and fixing a simple electric motor?

    The north end was better than the south but it was as bad as I’ve ever seen. The springs are a minimum two night stay to make it worth driving that road again. This was a big shake down run for the 4runner and I certainly achieved that.
