Sure, I’ll measure tomorrow at work. Just to let you know though, my truck is kind of a freak. It’s tall. Very tall. I have a local buddy with the same rear links and same rear springs, and my truck is an inch or more taller than his. And I have a metal tech coil conversion, and he uses SSO...
Yes, that’s the only reason it’s done, is to free up travel. It’s not really noticeable with the rear removed, but I leave my front on when Street driving. If I’m going super off roading, I’ll temporarily pull the front.
Both. It’s pinion angle. Threw a bunch of weight in the back of the truck to lower the ass end down and it was much improved. I have to get some concrete bags to put back there until my metal tech links are back in stock and ship.
So here’s the deal, i just replaced my lower control arms with factory OEM replacements, and installed Dobinsons rear springs (C59-675V) if that matters, and aligned it.
Drove it to work to do the work in the AM; perfect no vibrations. Drive it home after the work and it has a pretty annoying...
The factory upper arms are more than the total Chaos uppers. The factory uppers are also more than the factory lowers.
You can find factory lowers online for around $250-260/ea. You’re lucky you don’t have KDSS, the KDSS lower control arms are much more.
There is no specific service interval...
Ya, I can see where it’s confusing. The idler and timing belt tensioner obviously get replaced during the timing belt, but I’m also doing my serpentine tensioner and idler during my timing belt as well.
Probably the tensioner or just a worn belt. Mine occasionally gives me a brief squeal on startup. It’s due for a timing belt in 10k so I’m going to do it all then.
There’s basically a slip joint on the driveshaft that allows it to expand and contract with height. (Among other things) it could just be that the slip joint needs grease, it’s probably never been greased since it left the factory. When they bind, they kinda pop/clunk as the height of the...
It does not have the sport package, but may however still have KDSS. Its worth what you think it’s worth. White/tan isn’t an unusual combo or anything, but awesome maintenance records make it valuable. KBB sucks at valuing cars. Look the roof over well for peeling paint, the white has a tendency...
