tankless camp water heater that runs on propane

Any ideas on where and what type of pump is needed? I'll be pulling water from a creek most of the time while camping. I'm guessing I'll need to know how long of a run from the creek to the shower? Thanks, Chris

    New fridge specific drawer system

Another idea is keeping any items on top of the storage box left of the fridge from falling into the fridge slide space after you pull the fridge out. It's one thing that's been driving me crazy. I also end up stuffing stuff behind the fridge and to the right that also can easily fall into the...

    New fridge specific drawer system

Hello, I'm really enjoying this drawer build. I've been thinking about a build like this but have always stumbled when I'm thinking of making it not very permanent. We have three kids but sometimes we're hauling another around town and have to use at least one back seat so I was trying to come...

    Best Camp/Trail Coffee??

I'm really surprised no one mentioned a regular old malita plastic cone with paper filter. I've been using that for a really long time. For groups I use the bigger style malita holder and filters. I heat up some water put it in my big thermos and get it hot, once it's hot I pour out the water...

Packable awning on sale at REI

My only experience with my awning has been practicing the set up process and tear down. My large deluxe model has the same weakness in the area you speak of. I haven't experienced any tears yet but I did notice the seams/threads are spreading a bit in that area. The only reinforcement I've made...

    Propane Regulator Freezing

I have a large propane tank that I connect my stove to now. After about a 1/2 hour of using it the regulator starts to freeze and the flame on the stove turns from blue to orange and starts to sputter. Does anyone know of a way to keep this from happening? Thanks, Chris

    Anyone have Kelty's Mantra 7??

I have a tent with sleeves like that as well. I found if you pull them while trying to arch them a little it will not allow them to disengage from each other.

    Fridges...

I'm getting ready to purchase a 45qt but having a family of 5 is making me hesitate a bit. I will probably purchase a Engel 45qt for everything I want to keep dry and bring along a normal cooler for anything I don't mind getting wet. The 60qt looks a bit to big and draws more electricity.

The "good" 12V compressor at Costco for $48.99

I looked at our local Costco and couldn't find it as well. I ordered it from Summit Racing for $69.95. Thanks for posting this compressor! Instead of buying a CO2 tank now I'll have more money to spend on other goodies. Has anyone mounted one of these to their 80 with an extra tank? Pictures...

    PETT toilet vs. Nature Bio-Toilet

I use the wag bag Pett toilet as well. My advice is to not let anymore then 4 people go in one bag, especially if you're the one zipping that baby closed. Been there done that. I use a ammo can that seals pretty good but be aware when you pop that thing open to put in the garbage....whoooooooo...
