No wind to speak of...the sides of the tent held up well. It was the top that had issues. The mattress did get wet and when it did it lost all of its spring characteristics. It was not a pleasurable experience.
I met another mud member up there who had the same tent. Ironically we were both at...
The water collected in the trough between the center support pole and the side support poles. I couldn't tighten the adjustment straps enough to stop the water from pooling. Moab had record rain in early Oct of this year and I was in the middle of it. I ended up in a hotel for the final night of...
I spent 5 wet days in the tent while on a trip to Moab. During the night I would wake up to push on the top of the tent where water had collected. I am not as concerned about the sides as I am about the top. If I didn't live in AZ I'd dump the tent. Like Shahram I am concerned about weight...
I always support the hanging end of steel when I bend tube. In addition I put a level on it.
I have been trying to devise an A frame bench that would mount my JD2 #3 bender vertically...not horizontally. I think vertical mounting would contribute to better bends. The plan would be to do a...

To answer some questions I know are coming:
-The main hoop is angled toward the cab to get every extra inch out of the bed. The tent is longer than the bed by 10" sitting on the rack.

I cooked for the CSC at the TTORA event this past weekend. I ended up not wheeling one of the afternoons because I was cooking. I opened a cake box for my cobbler, it went over well by the way, and had no problems doing it...I saved a lot of time in prep work and cooking. I wish I'd taken more...
