It wont kink tubing or pipe...because it wont bend it. The ebay link is a flat bar bender NOT for pipe. It works fine for what it is FLAT-bar bender, but can be had at Harbor freight for less $$$.
A JDsquared model 3 bender is about as inexpensive as you can go for a tubing bender.
Step drills are not something I use on thicker sheet metal, sounds like they work for you. These work well up to 1/4" and are easier to get an accurate hole than standard drills when the hole must be drilled with a hand-drill.
They are for sheet metal my friend, you can get a 'last chance arbor' for holesaws which will do much better with the thicker material.
Starrett A-19 'oops arbor' is one example.
Not elegant, but just use the socket and wrench. Socket goes onto sparkplug and the combo wrench can twist the end that normally has the socket wrench plugged in.
Looking for a decent drill set (29 piece price range), right now trying to find an online source of a brand called 'Norseman' . Any cruiserheads with a web link or any other recommended brand, not uber expensive, but not Harbor freight either.
Thanks
I'm up north not down south . Vegas is ok for a visit, but she is not my cup of tea for a place to live-no offense to any Southern Nevada fella's.
I am up here close to Carson City. Not quite sure where Diamond Valley is though...somewhere in the middle of the state?
Anyway back to...
Honk allright, and for the record anything I say over on the Hobart board that may be construed as anti-Miller, is just me stirring up the hornets nest- virtual pest ha ha.

I was understanding that this was the place to be if you had a Landcruiser.
You have the advantage, I recognize a few here from the welding boards like Junk, but where have we crossed paths?
The thing with these plasmas is the electrodes will eat u up. That thing shows 36amps output at 40%. Pretty good factoring in the cost.
BUT where do you get your consumables? Might be able to adapt a thermaldyne'one torch' to it, but that is a big maybe and that torch will cost more than the...
