dana 60 wheel wobble wont go away

It's my understanding that he is having side to side wobble, not up and down so the wheel is centered on the hub.

    Nitro VS. Yukon VS. Others

Nitro 5.29's in my mini. 3 years, several stock birfs, a rear driveshaft, and a couple of knuckle studs with no problem.

    350 TBI conversion help

Adjust/replace your IAC and/or TPS. The IAC acts similar to a choke, either opening or closing a little port in the side of the TBI. Once it warms up, you it closes and runs great... Under hard acceleration it should open up depending on how the computer is set up. I'm not sure on stock to be...

    Final 4 Link Calculations

Might be late, but i have experience with the H1 beadlocks from trailworthyfab; Great guy to work with, but the turn around was about 2weeks more than I was told. They got here in time to finish the build 'on time' but thats only because i had some waterjet stuff that hadn't been finished...

Electric Line Lock Install Details & Pics Please

I could be wrong- But as for location of the line lock (seeing as they are electric) should be in the place with the most room- but out of the weather kinda thing. As for parts- You should need line cutter/flare tool and the proper size fittings/adapters. Wiring is a different story- Work...

    Builds Family haulin'

I'm running the H1's and Goodyears on my mini truck, and I have to say they (for me) drive great on the highway. One wouldn't balance, so I took the tire off the rim and rotated it 90*. Balanced fine after that. My only complaint on the tire is its mud performance. That may be the fault of...

    2f hp

moates makes a much easier program IMO. I used it to program a 7747 GM computer to put a 4.3L Throttle Body on a 2.4L 22r(tbi!). Works great. Would work even better if I used a 2.8L throttle body. I get 17-18mpg with 37's! Which is consistent with my stock 02 taco. moates.net

How to break in new gears?

I would find a dirt road, lock them in and go. If you cant do that, the jack stands work well. I have also been told not to worry about the front as it sees very little high speed use and rarely works itself hot... But, the local shop told me to change the oil at 500 miles and then every...

Builds Project - EffjJay Eighty - 2UZ powered

just so you know, the thrush welded mufflers are the exact thing as a flowmaster muffler, sans quality. I worked at oreillys for a while and we had both cut in half, looked nearly identical. We did a sells day and put one on either side of some older ford truck, both sides sounded identical.

    T-case opinions

205's can be found pretty commonly, along with a d300. common means some people will practically give them away. if you are keeping your offset rear then it would be easier to go with something offset to begin with.

    T-case opinions

If you are refering to the idea of me installing the tranny/case in my mini, they are both aluminum... Im not saying I didnt used the jack, but it was a hell of a lot easier than doing the many 205/465 cases that have passed through our shop. We run a 205 in one of our heep scramblers, its...

    T-case opinions

Wow- A 205/SM465 Combo weighs almost 300 lbs. I knew they were heavy, but I will never be dropping those without a thirdperson again. It was hard with two people under it. I single handedly removed my tranny/case in my mini and had no issue. Just a reminder of safety, never realized it was that...

np205 is damn near bullet proof, but heavy. Im not sure of the reduction, but if you break one you are doing something god doesnt want you to do. Or you are drunk. :grinpimp:

    3/4ton axles under a mini?

Most 3/4 chevys will have a 10bolt front (basically a d44 by chevy) and a 14bolt rear. I believe dodge/chevy trades and ford is by itself, but im not sure. As for strength issues, we run a 10bolt front under our heep scrambler with a stroked and joked 360amc (about 500horses of hell). It is...
