Got my turbo swapped yesterday and results were as planned. Lots more boost and lights quicker then ever, I'm going to do a wicked wheel here soon and hopefully get it to light even harder and quicker. Put a new synthetic winch line on and also a new clutch master, lost mine on a drive yesterday...
Unfortunately I have zero space for that. I have the issues under control now for the most part, tomorrow should be a fun day, installing an exhaust brake on it I was given a BD one so I am going to run it off my arb. Fixing my winch cable and doing a turbo swap. Hopefully should be making about...
Went out Sunday on a good adventure wheeling some trails then ended up exploring. Even got to get a road opened up again from this downed tree from a lighting strike
Limit straps worked well. I actually already have a suck down mount on my axle. I did that with the while conversion. My biggest issue is the angle it puts my winch line on since the front bumper is alot fitter out then the axle. It loads it weird and ends up hurting more then helping. And yeah...
Haven't posted in awhile. So I figured I would do an update. Fixed all the body damage. Changed spring rates again with shorter limit straps and added some rock lights I'm not too satisfied with. Winter plans are a new rear bumper. Antirock bar
Here is one from moab. I am running limit straps. I believe I made a noob mistake buy limiting it right before full droop. I'm in the show off flex relm right now and need to shorten them up a bit into the useful flex area. Dropping 50 more pounds off my springs today as well and shortening...
Been awhile since I have posted. Been on a few trips with the same results. I have major issues with the coil overs unloading hard on any steep incline. Along with this If I throw any kinda angle in the mix it tries to flop me, Every time. I have had the rig sitting for months now in total...
I would like to get the quarter and door pounded back in place. Rear light lines up a bit funny after I straightened it the best I could. The corner above the light is sunk in pretty well not quite sure how I'm going to get that corner straight again. I don't really have sheet metal tools or...
Thanks man. Wrong day and wrong obstacle for the 60. It was going great until traction gave out and I was pretty much screwed on backing out at the point. Here's the damage
Went for a test run today on a local trail, unfortunately it wasn't that greatest day. Made buzz through the local off road pages even the jeep site. Luckily the damage was pretty minor, still sucks though
Dumped 50 lbs off the upper spring rate today and needless to say this thing performs amazing. Way better off road and on road. Now everything is sitting where I intended it to. Lots some more height (which is great) better road manners too especially with the alignment and caster set this week...
Driveshaft back in, arb compressor mounted and hooked up, intake is in, downpipe is built and in, new hub and brakes all bled. Only a couple more things till I'm test driving
Got the right spring rates in and sitting on its own weight! Limit straps are on. New tie rod on and hydro ram mounts tacked on. Unfortunately I was running a 6 inch stroke ram before and with the steering back on stock holes it throws a true 8 inches now. So psc just shipped my new one today...
