Contact Eric Sargent to inquire - he sold a bunch of 200’s that were modified by 4WP (this one has the typical stuff he was pushing). Bet this one has an electrical gremlin that eats batteries.
I live up in Tahoe, and have NEVER been asked to chain up my old 2017 4Runner nor my 2019 Cruiser. Chain control sends ya thru with the Rovers, G's, and Jeeps. Honestly, if conditions are so bad a full-time 4x4 can't get thru without chains, the Donner Party can wait for me ;)
I left my brackets in place on my 2019...a little black tape over the opening on the fender wells and put the seat belts into the "storage slots." Doesn't look like a 2-row Heritage, but frees up the cargo area enough to hold a Newfoundland, a BIG Golden Retriever, and some soft bags in front of...
Both our '17 550 and the '21 G63 that replaced it have been nothing but reliable. Biggest cost on both was a second set of wheels and snow rated tires so wife never has to worry about chains (wee got the pre-paid maint and needed nothing beyond that). I love the G63's updated interior/amenities...
For a more utilitarian approach, I removed my 3rd row seats and the nice carpeted panel on the tailgate. Created more storage space by placing a metal plate with a hinged door in place of the carpeted panel.. Overall, quality on the metal plate isn't as good as it should be, but I'm sure it...
LC's in Tahoe are like G's in LA - see them all over the place (200's, 100's, 80's, etc).
I have a 2019 LC, but have driven a '17 G550 and the '19+ update (wifes vehicles). The update is much friendlier on the road due to being slightly longer/wider and IFS. No comparison on the engine power -...
After several years of ownership and moving full-time to Tahoe, I LOVE my 4.3's with the 305/65-18's I have on my 2019. I live @6330' elev in the Sierra's and drive back to the far northern Sac Valley occasionally. If I'm watching my acceleration, I tend to get around 10mpg cruising @70mph...
I've decided to ditch the spacers the stealership installed when I had my lift installed. Currently running the BBS Forged/TRD Pro wheels (18") and 305/65 BFG's with a SpiderTrax 1.25" spacer. If I wanted to find (or order) a correctly backspaced wheel to get rid of the spacers, what specs am I...
Here's an update - took the interior panel off again this morning and found BOTH the cables had come loose again (this time at the handle side, so I didnt have to completly remove the latch mechanism). Must have been an ID-10T user error, not getting the cable into the guides correctly. Got it...
Ok...took the interior panel off, removed the actual latch and re-connected the cable. Re-assembled everything, and still nothing. :bang::mad::bang::bang:
Any other ideas/suggestions? Outside handle works, but inside level won't release the door latch???
My 2019 mysteriously refused to open from the inside handle last night. Wife and I tried several times to lock/unlock, and only releases from the outside (cool - now I have a "Creeper Panel Van setup")
Any suggestions short of take it to the dealer?
