I think its the drivers side locking mechanism, its getting stuck. I played with it a little to loosen it and it works now. Looks like I’m going to have to replace the actuator or actuator motor in the near future.
Not sure what I did but I managed to make my locking chirp not work anymore. It chirps twice when I unlock the car with the fob but no chirp when I press the lock button. The car does lock, just no chirp.
Tried looking for it on the manual but no luck. Driving me nuts trying to figure this out.
I'm on the same boat, cant decide between the 285/70 and 285/75. Leaning more towards the 285/70 because the Terra Grapplers come in a P version in that size and the 285/75 only comes in an LT version.
Hey Guys,
I might catch some heat for this but here goes.
I am thinking to change my car back to bone stock so that I can comfortably use it as a daily driver along with my 200. With the kids and all, I feel like my car will never hit the trails anytime soon. Plus I saw a stock one at the...
Let me know when your ready.
I redid my 80s driver seat in a new original MB Tex vinyl, which is used in the new E-Class. Really good quality vinyl and the color was pretty close to the original. My main priority was to use a good quality vinyl rather then get a perfect color match. Here's a...

Not sure what year the car was, but the interior was in good shape, not sure they they were redoing it. What's the interior color in your 80? I just redid my drivers seat with some new MB Tex.
Hey Guys,
Just wanted to share these pictures and videos. Yesterday we had an upholsterer come in with a customers LX570 who was going to redo the front and back seats.
We matched the leather to one of our original Jaguar colors, and it was an almost dead on match to the Lexus leather. Then...
Last time I was at the beach, I forgot the key in pocket and was in the water for over 30 minutes. I took the metal key out, left the FOB and metal key in the sun to dry out and had no issues. Not saying you should purposely do this but just in case :)
I'm pretty comfortable driving in the snow, but I'm more worried about the CHP making me turn back because I don't have chains. Not a good thing with 2 kids under the age of 3:(
