    Great HWY mpg…

I get 20 and change highway going 80ish. Completely stock.

Are you saying the truck won't hold 6th gear bc aftermarket tires "drag" too much? They must be heavy AF.

Will stock Lexus pads go fine on aftermarket rotors?

Wham bam thank you ma'am they installed stock OEM pads on the aftermarket rotors a couple weeks ago, brakes are great. I'm glad I noticed it rubbing because THEN I'd be paying for rotors after not a long time.

Will stock Lexus pads go fine on aftermarket rotors?

I’m not a fan of aftermarket anything trust me. But I will say the brakes are excellent, or were until the rear pads went. I am replacing them with OEM Lexus pads but i actually like the rotors, they look just as nice as any on a car with OEM slotted and drilled rotors. I’ll snap a pic once I...

Will stock Lexus pads go fine on aftermarket rotors?

They are drilled, no way to turn them. Drilled and slotted.

Will stock Lexus pads go fine on aftermarket rotors?

Thanks, didn't think so. But aren't there these rods or sticks that come with the rear pads?

Will stock Lexus pads go fine on aftermarket rotors?

I'm not a fan of aftermarket stuff on cars, just a preference. However the PO of my truck replaced the rotors with high quality slotted and drilled, and aftermarket pads as well. To dude's credit, they are great brakes. Well, that's all well and good but now the rears are just about metal on...

Anyone have both LC and LX 200s? Equally refined?

Yeah if it's not throwing any lights on I wouldn't worry about it. Just....stay on top of those fluid changes.

Anyone have both LC and LX 200s? Equally refined?

Wait......the Torsen center diff is an option? What is there standard? Not sure I'll ever buy a 300 but will definitely pick up another 200 at some point.

Anyone have both LC and LX 200s? Equally refined?

Lol there's the protection for the 200 Series AHC, globes and other. 300LX does not have this. My guess is for weight savings for fuel economy, ditto the axed tailgate. Cars really suck now.

Anyone have both LC and LX 200s? Equally refined?

I'd love to drive a Land Cruiser around for a day or two just to enjoy it. People can bash AHC all the want, lol. Just the protection for the AHC globes are as large as and look like jail bars. Said protection is gone from the 300 I might add, because every car is engineered around fuel...

Anyone have both LC and LX 200s? Equally refined?

Are you kidding? I am obsessed with this thing. There is nothing I don't like about it, literally nothing. Except the power rear door works all the time except when I open it myself from the back, then I have to lift it. The interior isn't quite as cushy, the wood isn't as nice as the LX470...

Anyone have both LC and LX 200s? Equally refined?

Wow, chill. I never said one is better I just explained my choice. My initial request was about refinement. I assume the LC drives equally refined (damn well should) but the interior isn't as nice, etc.

Anyone have both LC and LX 200s? Equally refined?

Absolutely, let me quote a Motor Trend article. That said, five of these dudes run our figure eight in the 27-second range. (The GL's the quickest at 27.3 seconds, with the QX80 not too far behind the pack at 28.3 seconds.) To give you some context, a Mazda6 needs 27.3 seconds, whereas a Kia...

Anyone have both LC and LX 200s? Equally refined?

Yes, you do see them lol. Here the AHC is in all its glory, dealing with heavy activity/abuse. Some people act like AHC is this fragile thing that has to be babied, just change the fluid every 60-80k and it should last the life of the vehicle. This LX would do desert runs like that all day...

Anyone have both LC and LX 200s? Equally refined?

Lol see this just reiterates how we're all different with differing opinions, which is cool. To me personally, LX has every single bit of Land Cruiser cachet because it is one, PLUS flagship "L" level Lexus luxury which is very legit, as an owner I can tell you. LX is a rebadge but the most...

Anyone have both LC and LX 200s? Equally refined?

Yeah? I need to drive one. So just the engine and transmission don't feel as refined in a Tundra? V8 feels properly Lexus refined in LX, burly but refined. Like I said, almost like car makers used to put engines in that we'd actually want as if they knew we didn't want downsized crap thanks...

Anyone have both LC and LX 200s? Equally refined?

Oh yeah, it's very refined. I feel V8 5.7 Tundra owners get Lexus refinement power and shifting unless there's some drastic difference I'm unaware of. One thing, you don't hear a lot of complaints about the 5.7 from owners (Tundra/LX or otherwise), except about gas mileage which most of us...

Anyone have both LC and LX 200s? Equally refined?

I think it's both, since you mention that. There is NOTHING wrong with the gearing or transmission tuning in the '08-'16. Like I've said I enjoy the spunkiness. My other car is an LS430 which is just a cruiser and doesn't get "fast "unless you really hammer it, it's just how it drives...

Anyone have both LC and LX 200s? Equally refined?

Car and Driver is legit, at least they were before they turned into EV drivel. I totally believe 6.5 seconds to 60, my butt dyno pretty much confirms it. It's roughly as fast as my LS430 which is about a 6.3 second car. The pre '16 LC/LX are significantly quicker because of the gearing. I've...
