No idea. No brand is on the parts themselves that I can see. It all looks identical to what's on the Cruiser Corps website:
fj40 center arm rebuild kit
Center arm steering rebuild kit for an FJ40, FJ45, or FJ55, from 1969 to 1984. I believe I bought this from Cruiser Corps, and it would have been about 5 years ago. I never used it before I sold my FJ40, so everything is still new in bags.
$39.00, paypal.
I bought these from Cool Cruisers for my FJ60 back in 1999 or 2000. Never put them on before I sold the Cruiser and they've been sitting in my garage ever since.
Cool Cruisers website currently lists these as applicable on FJ40's, FJ60's, and FJ62's from 8/80 to 1/90, with a "sale" price of...
For sale is a 1995 FZJ80 Factory Service Manual (FSM).
There are some dog-eared pages, and a few greasy fingerprints, but nothing ripped or missing.
Asking $50, plus $10 shipping.
Please PM me if you are interested as I'm not able to check this site often.
Paypal accepted.
Ok. I think I've responded to everyone's PMs.
Right now, almost everything has a deal pending, and the things that don't have a waiting list.
I will update this thread if any of that changes.
Sorry to those who thought they'd be first in line. Things were moving so fast I had a hard time...
Ok, I've went back through and updated the opening post putting "Deal Pending" next to all the items I've tentatively sold.
Of course, until the deal is complete, they have the parts and I have money in my hands, nothing is final. I'll keep this thread updated as things progress.
It's good to see the 'Mud parts section so healthy!
Deal pending on rear springs and shocks, and front shocks.
Deal pending on drive shaft.
List forming on front springs and bump stops.
List forming on ARB Bull Bar
The Slee Sliders and Castor Plates have yet to be spoken for!
I'll have some 863s, 850j's, and the respective shocks available here in another week or so. If you're not going to have three to four hundred pounds of additional weight in or on the rear of your truck, you might think about J's for the front or else suffer a severe front rake.
A lot of it depends on the vehicle. For J springs, most everyone needs extended brake lines, sway bar drops, and some sort of caster correction.
I opted for Slee's caster plates. Others just used the OME bushings. Using the caster plates rotated the axle in such a way that I found a...
Yes, the J's are about an inch taller than the non-J's.
But, if you're looking for the 'heavy' suspension lift and not adding any additional weight to the rear of the vehicle (i.e. rear bumber, drawers, etc), your cruiser will have a noticeable rake (aka "stink bug") towards the front...
Yeah, the crappy thing is that the stock shocks that I took off when I put my first lift on, some 5 or 6 years ago, were only about 8 or 9 months old at the time.
"I'll never need these again", I said as I threw them out. Ha!
I kept the stock springs for some reason, though. Good for me...
Yeah, I just went ahead and ordered them from Dan. Didn't necessarily need 'new' as I'm probably just going to trade it in, but might as well go that way for the price.
