I agree that the hilti tools are great, but we've had great experience with dewalt stuffs at work, there were two drills which were already old and beat when I started, 4+ years ago, and we've since bought three more, and with the new batteries, the old drills are still performing admirably...
just use a carbide blade, installed normally on the skil saw, as mentioned above
we cut aluminum extrusions with wood blades all the time, and there is no excessive wear on the blade, I would think that 1/16 with plywood would cut just about the same as plain plywood
get a roll of 3" masking...
not sure what saws are worth where you are, but when I was looking I could get a used stihl/husq/jonsered/echo for right around the same price as a new poulan/mccullogh/etc
also cheap saws that look to be an equivalent size are not necesssarily going to have the same power, IIRC there is a...

my wee stihl is a pain for clogged air fliters, I had a similar problem when I was less familiar with the saw. not sure how the airflow works on yours, but mine filtered from the bottom, so when you pull the filter cover, it looks fine, but pull the...
I've just painted right over it, no prep, no prime, water based. in a bathroom, so high humidity, but three years, no problems
if you are less of a hack than I, wash it down with Safeprep or TSP, prime with water based
steam would be my vote
