    I searched and read where it grows, Missouri isn’t listed. It was Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas, and only along two specific rivers.

    Yeah, seems that and hickory are the only ones higher than live oak.

    Live oak has the highest BTU on here, there’s no valley oak to compare it to.

    I brought this down from our mountain place yesterday. The come along is on there because my son broke the thing that keeps it closed on that side, I’ll have to make another one. Already moving it too.

    I had to work on my 461 today, the brake handle broke off. You can see a broken plastic piece still on the pin, under the long reach end of the big spring. It was a little tricky to do, but I got it done. No after pics yet. I love this saw, in case anyone is wondering about this model.

    I’ve been at my mountain place over a month now, trying to get things done before the snow keeps me out. Split this wood (and more) yesterday. Looks bad, but burns good. A bunch of these were in the wood.

    Got this Tuesday. Delivered this to the store owners Wednesday, for their owan use. Now there’s more oak to split. This had fallen right in the road, and was hard not to go back for.

    I had coworkers in the past tell me my prices were crazy high, I told them something along the lines of this. Also told them I had a shortage of wood, not buyers.
