I am running the OME 2.5 lift on my 2000 4rnr. No mods needed just install and go.
handling is 100% better than stock, although it does ride a little rougher!
modification for ARB bumper
Basically cutting off the two flat mounting plates on the front of the frame that your original bumper mounts to. This lets the ARB bumper mount slip over the frame rails and mount up using existing holes in the frame. really not a big deal so don't let it scare...
i like my 255-85-16's as well and i haven't regeared either. it is fine for cruising on the hwy but i think it will be a problem on the trail.
gogle - where are the pics?
i left them finger tight until i had the bumper on the brackets, then i snugged them down. then i adjusted the bumper where i wanted it and went back and torqued everything down tight.
the slight mod would be cutting off the factory bumper mount. here is a link to some pictures of another 4runner arb install on Yotatech ARB on!!!pics! - YotaTech Forums
there is alot more info over on yotatech about the 4runners and it might be worth your time looking around their before...
pm'd ya
here is the part number for everyone else. #3423020
the bumper is listed for the 95-04 tacoma but it will fit the 4runner with a slight mod. you have to cut off the stock bumper mounting flange. there are some pretty good write ups on this install over on yotatech.
