We were going to OXB every weekend last summer and this spring and taking the trucks. Our favorite was down by Frisco just past the Lighthouse. You can run on the beach for miles and miles and they are not crowded at all. I agree with lowering your airpressure and using low range. Sometimes...
We're headed out to some new land somewhere near Charlottesville this weekend, if you wanna tag onto us. I do know that it is 1.5 hours from Richmond, we're leaving at 7:30 am and returning at the end of the day. That is the extent of my knowledge, but I can find out more if you want.
Kris
hey -- where are you in Richmond? You joined BBRC yet? You wheel much? I might be in....gotta clear it with the boss after being gone for 3.5 weeks and just coming back from Attica, too!
Kris
We'll also be wheeling half the day on Sunday if anyone is interested.
I'm definitely in for the half day on Sunday. I plan on leaving mid-day on Friday -- if I can get out of the office. -- Wheel Saturday and Sunday.
Kris
I'm only running moderates...first time wheeling anything other than a 40!
I'm coming from Cincy -- not certain how close that is for you from Lou/Lex area...I'm not very familiar with the bible belt ;-) Hit me if you wanna try to meet up somewhere. I left a vm for Fry Daddy yesterday --...

So, I'll be there boys -- I bought Jeff Jones' 80 in Durango, so first time out in the Whale since picking it up.
I gotta swing from Durango thru Lubbock visit the in-laws, then thru DFW to party with Shregg and the LSLC boys, then maybe making a stop in Nashville to hang with...

One other note...you forgot my broken frame....doh
I am in Cincy this week but will forward pics when I get back to Richmond. Should I send them to someone for an article release first?
Also...the old man must have forgotten....WE BOTH MISSED OUR FLIGHTS ON MONDAY...
Directions to Red Ridge
Posted up to BBRC list...
After following Norm back from the campgrounds to 81 on the last run I thought I might post some direction for those of us towing our rigs on trailers. It is a lot easier and the roads are much better.
take exit 143 off I81 and go west...
Not sure. I'm not leading this pack...I just posted it up to see who all might meet us there. I honestly can't even remember the names of trails we've done in the past other than hummer hill. And I think Widow Maker -- does that sound right? Something with boulders anywhere from 3-5'...??
No need to sign up. We'll probably meet at the Offroad Park around 8-8:30. They open at 8. You will probably want to go buy a orange 4-wheeler flag at Wal-Mart before you get there or you'll pay $12 for one at the park. I can't remember the park fees. Here is the website for more info...
