It handled the big stuff more smoothly than my 40.. Like, the suspension was so plush you didn't feel like there was a rock under you. But there was a lot of wheelspin and steering wheel rocking required to get up. My 40 just crawled right up, so no, it didn't handle better persay, it just did...

The Yellow rig is an FJC.. There were three with us that day, the yellow and ruby one were autotragic with ARB front bumpers and Warn 9000 winches, the silver one was 6 speed...
I just laid it on its side... And yea, the flat trail got the best of me.. What happened was, I don't have power steering, so when my front tires hit the rock you can see in the picture behind my 40 they steered themselves hard to the left. So the momentum of the rig pushed me up that embankment...
Yea... I said "Dude... You're standing on my exhaust.." and he said "I know.." so I figure, "well if mr. Toyota Driver Master ASE mechanic thinks it's ok to stand on my exhaust pipe instead of the frame rail, whatever..." My nerves were so shot right then it didn't really matter to me.
Well I had a little accident yesterday... Went wheelin in the mountains of NC with the FJ Cruiser trail team. Fourtunately they had a winch and were able to upright me fairly quick. No oil in the cylanders, ran strong for several more hours after I flopped her... Got me home with a few ratchet...
