Thinking about an early to mid-70s T/A or a split bumper camaro (either with a 4spd)...I do like the 69 camaro but would like to have some money left over for cruising :) Thanks for the vote of confidence...
Hey BSLCA members, I'm finally biting the bullet and selling 60. I put a post on the Cotton Land Cruiser page and wanted to include any members here since this is where I started out when I lived in LA. I'm gonna add some pics this weekend, but here is the link I made in the MS page if anyone is...
Looks like a fantastic trip and great pics to boot! I made a trip to Costa Rica last month, just after the rainy season ended. Very beautiful country and quite a few diesel Cruisers. The people I met were very friendly and I turned $10US into $80 at the hotel casino. Though mine was a whirlwind...

I passed one of these on my way to work this week. OD green single cab with a canvas cover over teh back. He was tkaing it easy at 50-55mph on I12. I used to see lots of these when deployed to Turkey. The Brits drove them all over. I didn't know what it was but thought it was really cool.
Update from the Cottonland Cruisers page regarding the FJ40 in Ocean Springs:

I work in Biloxi, so I'll see if I can snap a pic or two. I've seen this cruiser, exit 57 off I10. About 1/2 mile on the left if anyone's going that way. Kinda surprised that it's in the $3-4k range, but it doesn't have a top either...................
Glad to hear it.
Well, I'm not interested in shipping as I have no time to after my commute. I'd be willing to give 'em to someone from BSLCA (maybe even Cottonland Cruisers) if they can pick them up. If I can ever get my u-bolts cut off and torqued down, I might actually be able to drive...
What to do with Old Leafs?
I've had my old FJ60 leaf springs sitting on my carport, and I'm wondering to do with them. I can't leave 'em on the curb to be picked up on garbage day, and I leave for work at 0600 and return around 1800. Anyone have any ideas on how to rid myself of these springs?
I was in AK in Feb, and while travelling to Willow for the start of the Iditarod, I passed a 40 sitting in what appeared to be a used car lot. It was beige and had a roof rack with about two feet of snow on top! I couldn't convince the guys to turn around since it was 5 degrees outside, so I...
I saw that one last year in Mandeville. Three high school girls were driving around in it, and I was in my 60 when we passed one another. Would be worth getting more info (and pics) out of the current owner for the group
Cruiser towing a Cruiser on I12
Commuting home yesterday, I-12W around Abita Springs, I saw a blue FJ Cruiser towing a FJ40. It was a maroon-ish, almost primer red color with hardtop and doors. Just wondering if it was a club member?
That's a different FJ!
The one I saw was about 100 yards off the highway, behind a single wide, with only the white top and a tiny portion of green body sticking out.
The other is red/white sitting in a backyard with weeds growing around it. It's east of town close to a bridge if I...
HWY190 does turn into Florida Blvd, and yes this FJ40 is an olive green. It's sitting on a concrete slab, north side of the highway, and west of I-55 in Hammond.
My friend (owns a 82 FJ60) stopped by once, I stopped by once, but the owner declined saying he was saving it for his son. It has a...
One FJ40 on Hwy190 in Hammond (just west of I-55). One North of Tickfaw on Hwy51 and one East of Tickfaw. All sitting there for years, but the owners won't sell. Just rediculous that these people would rather have their LC's rust away rather than sell them to an enthusiast.
