My 94 always ran like a scalded dog when it had the 1fz. Here is the last pull before pulling in shop to do engine swap. 315s, stock gears, stock bumpers on. Magnaflow muffler. CEL for o2 sensor.
I honestly think a lot of people’s issues with their 80s stem from babying it and never flooring...
Well, you need a boost gauge.. and it needs a pod, pod needs to match interior… next thing you know you have a 4k set of seats and alcantara headliner.
This is how I went from needing new valve stem seals in my 1fz to having a V8 under the hood. The “while I’m in there” is very strong (and expensive) with the 1fz.
Perfectly fine for a one time deal. I wouldn’t buy the set unless I was regularly swapping them. I also wouldn’t press the old ones out. I’d remove them with other methods.
