Hey @perrobravo! It might be worth bugging @Coolerman to see if he can duplicate the fusible link. His prices are very reasonable for great quality and his communication along with his turn around is impressive.
Here's his website...
Todays copilot’s to drop off the Mrs’ lunch.
I’m not sure who’s more spoiled: my wife who gets a fresh meal everyday or the dogs who have become trained for “lunch time” rides.
You know you chose the right wife when she wants to use the Land Cruiser over the Lincoln Continental or CT5V Blackwing for her elementary schools trunk or treat.
Note: If you want men to hit on you, this is the way.
“Trunk 11” placed 2nd place out of a little over 30 cars. We lost to...
Over the last week I did a few small updates to the 75.
The first maintenance task was in regards to an oil leak. There was no oil dripping onto my driveway but I noticed that my engine head was moist, usually I like things moist. I had assumed my valve cover gasket was weeping but after...
Spent all of 2 minutes installing something I never knew I needed until I realized I didn't have it.
Thanks @bhicks for taking interest in the 70 series section
It runs!
Had a few simple issues in the beginning but all have since been solved. Still need to tidy up the vacuum system and figure out a better system for my throttle cable. It’s a whooping 10 inches long.
Otherwise I ended up modifying my old carb heat shield thing to become my adapter...
I’ve decided that I’m going to run a full time drawer. Time will tell how well ARB’s materials hold up.
I’m not sure getting a sliding top was the right decision. The drawer itself locks, but seems pointless when the top can freely slide to open. :banghead:
Took a quick break from work and tinkered with this.

Advertised as a 3F adapter. It works for the 2300 but I like the look of the 2GC a little better so I just tapped m8x1.25 threads into...
I’ve been finding every reason to drive the 75 recently.
So today I requested Fedex hold my package(s) just so I could go pick it up.
Accessories in todays haul included:
Air compressor
Air tank
Winch
Fridge
Slide
Hopefully I’ll be able to address the Holley sniper along with the brakes in...
Replaced both the engine and transmission mounts today. One engine mount was totally torn.
Quick job to swap them out.Fan has since stopped hitting the shroud occasionally.
Mission accomplished.
