   Checking battery size

   The stock clamp should be fine but I'm not a fan of Optima Batteries. Their quality has gone down over the years. I prefer a Interstate regular flooded lead acid type.

   Checking battery size

   Get the 27F. Correct size, correct terminal orientation and fits fine in the OEM battery tray which is the best option to shield it from the heat of the rest of the engine compartment.
