I've long regretted that Toyota never made those in an Xcab as I just don't fit in the Std. cab.

My great grandfather operated the General Store and Post Office that used to be in Emigrant Gap. This would have been in the late 1940's. I don't think that the building still stands.
Took some new to dirt drivers out to get some more experience in the White Mtns. of Eastern CA.
We went up a really steep, switch-back road into the mtns.

Ran Saline Valley Rd North to South a couple weekends ago. That ought to hold me for the next decade or so. There was no speed that I could go in a Medium-Stroky 'Pre-runner' OJB that smoothed out that washboard.
