    Awesome work! Having all that iron flying is definitely a tense experience, even when you know it’s secure. My garage also has a lip that is tough to get over with metal casters. We used a ~4ft long 2x4 that was laying around as a big lever to help nudge the hoist up and over, one side at a time.

    If I had to guess, maybe bad drip rail sealant leaking down the A pillar, stuff seeping in from the fenders or bad rear hood seal or spray from the wheels getting in if the fender seals are removed 🤷‍♂️

    Also check for rust behind these covers. There’s a body mount in there that can rust out if you’re not careful. I found some flaky rust on my otherwise rust free CA/AZ 60 hiding in there.

    Congrats on the start of your build! Something to be aware of, the body will rust underneath that stuff and form bubbles in the underlayment. If you see any of that you may just want to remove it all, treat the rust then apply your sound deadener of choice.
