That’s great. But that doesn’t automatically negate possible improved possibilities.

Ok, but you need to realize that some drivers can go places with 33s that others with 40s can’t. In the end skill often trumps build and inexperience.

I’ve personally have not had any issue with that. I would be interested in what brought you to this point.

Time marches on and what was the best in the past is always going to be challenged in the future. It’s called progress and should benefit everyone.

I’m not trying to sell anybody on anything, just trying to educate people on what I feel is the optimum traction adder that I’ve experienced which includes selectable lockers and Aussie lockers. Kaisers are by default locked. It’s the rotational difference across the axle (binding) that forces...

my complaint with selectables isn't that they fail, it's that they can cause failure of other bits and pieces. Those other pieces are inner drive shafts, birfields and drive flanges to name a few. Consider you are climbing a steep hill that is relatively flat and are faced with a small 3'...

not a limited slip as I stated the torque applied is proportional to tire rotation. there are plenty of profesionals that use Kaisers around the work in all types of competition. From drag racing to rock crawling. If you think everything on a competition build is solely chosen on being the...

because Kaiser allows the wheels to rotate at different speeds and delivers torque based on each tires individual RPM. Lets say you are fully locked and taking a left hand turn. So the rear left wheel travels the shortest distance, then the left front tire, right rear tire and finally the...

they really only work well when going in a straight line. Anything else and they are horrible. In snow and locked if you turn the wheel you are going in a straight line. Off camber on a hill and you are going sideways. All 4 tires are linked and rotating at the same RPM. And it you need to have...

didn't read the whole thread and I'm an outlier on the topic but... 🖕selectable lockers! I've had e-lockers and now have Kaiser auto lockers front and rear and will never build another personal rig without them.
