I just welcomed a new Prado to the family... drove it home from Port of Los Angeles yesterday. Really clean condition - 149K km, fresh timing belt, new tires, and maintenance appears to have been well done (super clean coolant, cooling system hoses look fresh, etc). First step is a replacement...

I finally took delivery of the Prado I've been waiting on... I posted it earlier - 1995 KZJ78, stick shift, locking rear diff, and 86,000km. It has a factory winch installed (which I was not expecting), but does not have the remote control. Are these switches near the shifter related to the...

I'm excited about this one... only 86K km on the clock, 5-speed manual, rear diff locker, and clean underbody. It's on the docks outside Tokyo right now, but should arrive on my doorstep in September. This one should be fun. It's really going to take some adjustment having the stick in my left hand.

'96 KZJ78 with 166K km - finally arrived in Long Beach harbor last week after sitting on the docks in Kobe for 4-5 months due to shipping delays. I had it trucked here and received it today. Now starts the process of evaluating what needs attention and prioritizing work. The biggest known issues...
