Dude, totally never saw this and I apologize. To answer your question the 2.5'' front definitely brought me down in front. The 2.0 tapered rear is currently sitting at least as high as I was with the 3'' . The difference is I currently don't have any swingouts or spare tire sitting over the...
I had the dual rate non-tapered wire before. I switched earlier this year to the dual rate tapered wire coil. The tapered rear is obviously setup for a lot more load than what I had in it before. If you are just running a rear bumper with tire then the non-tapered or Flexi coils should make a...
@cavboy78 The Dobinsons tapered rear definitely needs some weight to get it down. I'm running just plain 4x4 labs rear currently until I complete the swing arm. The rear of my rig is pumped up like a drag car currently. I'm thinking once I can get the weight over the back it should trim out...
I can tell you right off that those coil load ratings are not correct. The V at the end stands for variable which means they are not a constant rate coil. @David Otero for the clarification !
@David Otero for the win ! Looks like myself and everyone else won't be crying about the mystery spring rates anymore. Guess we will have to find something else to focus on.
@Nay the green Dobinsons coil you pictured is going to be a dual rate. You have only two different pitches in the windings. It looks like the taller version of what I have on my truck.
