   3 Speed Tranny/Trans Question

   Does it all line up correctly when the nut is torqued down on the shaft? If I remember correctly the bearing slides in the housing to make up any slop between the gears. I know the location you mention but i have never seen that spacer. I would assy it and see what it looks like then.

   3 Speed Tranny/Trans Question

   One of the spacers may be for the PTO gear if it is not installed. The other spacer is for the backside of the shaft after the bearing before the nut. Should be around 2" long. I dont see how you can have any slop in there once tight.
