Been driving mine daily for 6-7 years now. I put a 5 speed in with 4:10 gears in the diffs. I installed a Holley Sniper EFI system a while back and it is not an improvement on fuel consumption at all. These trucks are heavy and boxy. 17 mpg is a pipe dream.
