This is what nearly put me over the edge towards going with the mishimoto 😂 I went with the Koyorad and it's been holding up great for almost a year now.

UPDATE: I installed a Koyo I got from rock auto about 2 weeks ago in my 2003 and it has been working great. Perfect fit. Kept the 100 cool on a 300 mile road trip this past Monday. I don't know how much sense this makes, but it seemed to run better overall after installing the new radiator.

Thanks for the reply. I think I'm definitely going with Koyo. Thanks for this info. Exactly what I've been looking for. Of course this was on the 3 pages of this thread that I didn't read!

What's the difference between the two different OEM rads from 98-02 and 03-07? Price difference on those is $100+. Just wondering what differences there are, and why Koyo, for instance, wouldn't just list the A2282 as 98-2007, as Mishimoto does with their aluminum rad (but not with their...

That lifetime warranty and the ability to get it locally have me thinking about going for it. This TYC from amazon was a nightmare. I would like to get a Koyo A22882, but I can't find any clarification on fit. Everywhere I can find it tells me it fits a 98-2002. I'm pretty sure I saw someone...

Has anyone had any luck with a Carquest Premium radiator? https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/carquest-premium-radiator-431476/19920302-P?navigationPath=L1*14922%7CL2*15022%7CL3*15952

After spending the last two afternoons removing, flushing and replacing with a New TYC from Amazon, it leaked immediately when I went to fill it up. From the passenger side top corner. Back to the drawing board.

After reading through this entire thread, it seems like pretty much every brand AND even some OEM replacements have leaked. Many days or weeks after install. All of those seem like a crapshoot. I haven't seen anyone have any problems with the Mishimoto.

The TYC radiator I ordered from Amazon came in and it is TYC branded (not Koyo as some have recieved) and made in China. I'm a little apprehensive about adding Chinese junk into my Japanese built truck, but I'm in too deep now. It was packaged pretty good though, and the box was undamaged...

I went with a TYC from Amazon. Decided to drop the $160 on that, if it doesn't work out, I'll go with a Mishimoto. Ordered a new OEM thermostat and gasket, Gates upper and lower hoses, new OEM clamps from McGeorge Toyota. Also went ahead and ordered new heater Ts from McGeorge as well. I figure...

Did everyone buy these up already? I'm looking for the Mishimoto for my '03 LX and only the 98-02 part is listed on the Mishimoto site. Took my truck in for new tires and got a report back of several other repairs. As I'm not looking to pay Toyota $1000 to replace it for me I'd really like to...
