Cool. Not trying to beat u up on your build, just throwing out input from what I see. It's gonna be a fun cruiser. You need to build a mount on your trailer hitch and some hydraulic outriggers and u can use it to drill wells and wheel it .:cool:
The shock body looks like it's really close to the upper shock bracket. When the suspension flexes the shock body will likely move a good 1/2" or more closer to the frame. I see the draw to want to use shock hoops because they look cool and fairly easy to install. I think in your situation...
Since that's a steel hawes fair lead it can be used with the cable. The aluminum can only be used with rope. I prefer cable personally because I can drag it through rocks n dirt and not worry about it.
Are you sure your front drive shaft isn't too long? For your suspension setup it looks like you don't have enough slip yoke compression. It might bind under full droop. At least that's what it looks like to me.
Congratulations on getting it on its own weight. Nice looking truck. Don't forget to add gear oil. I always worry I'll get all the big stuff done and forget something small and important lol.
If you use loctite instead it will prevent thread corrosion. Purple or blue should work for most engine fasteners. If you are worried bolts will get rusty and break you can also upgrade to stronger bolts like grade 8 or 10. For my exhaust manifold bolts on my ls motor I am upgrading to grade 10...
