My SPOA10 was $68XX installed a few months back. That was with the Trio Arms, Flip-Up adapters, and the Truck Extensions. I watched them install the lift and, yes, it didn't look that difficult. Having said that, those posts are heavy biatches and I was glad I wasn't walking them into place...

If it were me, given that they are 18k lumens, I would hang them as high as possible; aka remove the chains.
Have you purchased the wire yet? I went with a 12/2 MC cable with the 16/2 signal pair. Nice that it’s all in one shielded cable but not easy to find and pricey. Makes for a very clean install though.
At the risk of blowing more than your mind, the Lithonia fixtures are dimmable. However, you need a separate pair of 16 gauge (for example) wires to connect to a dimmer switch that is specific for 0-10v dimmable LEDs. You don't have to make use of this function but you will need the additional...
Yes. The 12000 are 24” (they might actually be 22” but that’s off the top of my head).
I am going to use 15000 at 15’. I think that will work for me because I’m going to use 16 fixtures instead of 12. I want to avoid shadows as much as possible. FWIW the rectangular lights will give more even...
5000 although I'm sure some people would find 4000 more to their liking. 5000 is supposed to replicate sunlight. 4000 is a bit warmer but not yellow. FWIW warm white from a typical incandescent is around 2700 to 3000.
Just three comments. You shouldn't put 20000 lumen lights at 12' or 13' (or even 14'). The limit at that height would be around 12000 lumens. Quality LEDs have a 100,000 hour (L70) life. 50 lumens might work for you but I would want more.
12000 lumen Lithonia IBE lights are about $110 each.
Also the height makes a huge difference, in multiple ways. The lower the lights are hung, in general, the more fixtures you will need at lower lumens (wattage) to prevent shadows. Warehouses are generally lit to something like 10 to maybe as high as 30 footcandles at 30". While that will...

For my shop I am looking at the 15000 lumen in a 5k temperature. 16 of those at 15' gives well over 100 footcandles at 30". That's probably too much light (if...
I'm about to pull the trigger on new lights. Looking at 16 15000 lumen LED linear high bays. That will put me at around 110 lumens at 30". (Dimmer function will take care of "too much light".) Can't remember the size of your shop but 4 UFO fixtures seems light. :meh:
Edit: I see you are...
Definitely not anti-pegboard; just have a preference for slatwall after having both. Slatwall fixtures don't tend to pop out like pegboard. The trick to slatwall, cost wise, is to find a retail/wholesale fixture store and not an online or otherwise specialty "garage" store. Very cheap when...
Looking good. I would highly recommend you look at commercial grade slatwall instead of pegboard. There was a commercial fixture store near our last house that sold the sheets for around $40 each (4x8 and very heavy). Even if they're $100 per sheet today it would be far superior to pegboard...
I certainly understand the advantages of conduit. I was just questioning inside vs outside. I agree with you that I probably misinterpreted though and he means outside the inside walls.
I saw you mention this before. Why not put them in conduit on the inside? Not sure I would want to mess up that exterior façade with conduit but maybe there's some advantage that I'm not getting.
Looks great by the way. Congrats on getting it dried in. I don't think that metal will stain...
