your INCORRECT current clocking TAB alternator 2 and 6 first tech photo
and below that a 1975 STRAIGHT TABS unit correct profile 12 and 6

the Passenger side UPPER USA Spec. mounting location requires a 12 & 6 STRAIGHT TABS front face framed nippondenso unit PERIOD !
a clocked 10AM or 2PM unit WILL NOT WORK , no way Jose ......
none of the photos thus far show the CLOCKING POSITIONS in a way to determine this ?

- the 1975 2F USA Spec. Alternator Adjustment BAR part # 16381-61010
- it's application 1/75-6/80 USA Spec. 2F and Canada too
- in 7/80-10/83 USA-Spec. 2F TOYOTA added the return feature / slider adjustment block

- i have 100% period correct reproduced...
