Don't assume you know everything about a person from the little they share on the internet. If you have questions about my knowledge or background, you're more than welcome to PM me instead of trying to big-dog me with rolley eye emojis. If we met, I'm sure we'd get along. Lets not let...

    1. Don't cheap out on mounts. The Land Cruiser shop ones look decent but if at all possible fab a mount to use an OEM mount. Don't bother with the Marks mounts and definitely don't go with the Dirty Dingo mounts. I'm not a fan of puck style aftermarket mounts. 2. Wiring is the same-ish. The TCM...

You can adjust the pressure by swapping out the flow piston. *Below parts are examples, find the exact one for your application* or install a reducer fitting into the line like this...

Remove your springs/shocks and lay the axle on the bumps, add some wiggle room after that. You'll probably need a smaller OD driveshaft. Any driveline shop should be able get you setup.

The kit should have came with fasteners. That said, my kit didn't have ALL of the fasteners. Also, the adaptor fowled with the top of the trans. Had to take a file to a rib on the trans.

The 3UR starter is under the passenger side exhaust manifold.

One piece of info: The stock case has a passenger side drop. The OEM 80 series tank is on the driver's side farther back from the t-case. Not saying it won't interfere, just that it might not. Unless you've already tried, in which case nevermind.... :D

I got a couple PMs about my build. It's Troopy body but it's an 80 frame so I guess it belongs here too. It's an L92/6L80/Marks/HF2AV. This thread help me out quite a bit, especially @bloc answering my questions, thanks man! Build thread in my sig. We used Dirty Dingo mounts, they were fairly...

Because I don't have them. Plus, acquiring and using them would be more expensive and more complicated than a simple harness.

From what I understand the CDL motor is similar to the diff lock motors. In which case, I'll be using this: http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/ultimate-toyota-electric-locker-elocker-wiring-harness-kit-by-low-range-off-road-tdi-elwh.html Hopefully it works.

What intake pipe is this? Custom job or off the shelf? Looks like a perfect fit.

You can buy a 'kit' (pan, windage, dipstick, gasket, pickup) for a complete swap in one package. I can't find the part number but I bought one from Speedway Motors a while back.

Email Marks4wd or AA for the measurements. They should provide you with instructions with a diagram like this (for the 6l80e)

The V means it has the viscous coupler. Also, the HF2AV is rumored to be a few inches longer as well. That said, I already have the Marks adaptor.

Just what mods (if any) you made to the crossmember. Just trying to work out strategies for my build. Namely since you used the 6l80e as well.

Nice. Can I get a shot of the trans mount? Just curious what route you went.

Yes to both. Not to sound douchey; but there's a lot to this swap beyond motor mounts and ecus though.
