I took the :rainbow:rainbow:rainbow: pics before the rain started. Rained the last five miles and then started pouring down hard at the air up area.

Sum Pix Thanks for setting up the run @mtn biker ! Meetin' up at the Circle K I kept seeing red lights in my mirror - thought I was being followed by a fire truck! Movin' on Apparently if the trail is too dusty we can file a complaint Don't think I've noticed concrete cattle guards...

Made it to the in-town Forest at Superior. Looks like rain 🌧️ on the way and I can see lightning towards the north.

CSC standardized on Ham 146.460 a while back. I dumped the CB and replaced it with GMRS mobile unit and have no intention on using CB ever again. I have ham because I can and GMRS because it is the future of trail communication. GMRS is just as useful as ham for trail comms without the...

In 2020 it was raining almost the entire run and we ran from the Circle K to where I turned off at the edge of the Tonto Forest for camping in 4 1/2 hours.

Are you talking about the gray road 357? You just take the blue roads 293, 252 instead. I think it is well marked so you don't get caught on the wrong road. In 2020 we went counter-clockwise and came out near Queen Valley Road and didn't even go near the closure.

If anyone wants to get a jump on the run there are plenty of places to camp in &/or near Superior. I camp just a little ways (< 2 miles) from the Circle K for Superior area runs. It is a little noisy from the perlite plant next door, but a little rum 🍸 drowns it out. I wouldn't want to...

Circle K on the south side of Superior might be a good place to meet. Gas, food, restrooms👻

I don’t see a conflict In the monthly meeting report Brice said: I will be posting up about the annual Casner run. This year it will not be in October, but in September.

Montana mountain is pretty when it’s raining. Bulldog needs passes. Don’t know what Saguaro lake cove is, but I probably have pictures of it from a Trails work session a while back. We lunched somewhere on some body of water that could’ve been a cove.
