   1974 FJ43 knuckle rebuild, missing parts normal?

   My 74-40 has that retainer and the felt #29 in your pic above. I think that's what goes with the small pattern knuckles and the large pattern knuckles don't have the felt but have rubber built into the retainer but then they call it a seal as shown in the PDF that Green Been attached above...
