Are you carrying bikes with you or are those 'vineyard bikes'?

Main Salmon? I finally got to float the Middle Fork this summer. Friend picked up a cancellation. Not the ideal MFS trip, took IKs and one lightly loaded raft as we had to portage the log jams and line another rapid that was full of wood & root balls, but we had the top section of the river...

I struggle with Gaia as well. I usually use Garmin Connect to create routes then export the .gpx file and upload to Gaia. I also find it easier to work on a PC and not a phone. The phone interface is not too intuitive. Sometimes you have to 'free-hand' a route if the software won't...

Never been a fan of those bars. I understand their utility, but don't like the look. I've got some oem chrome steps that I'll probably never put back on, if you're ever back up in the PNW...

Wow. Awesome. Good luck! I've fantasized often about doing this same thing, but don't have the cajones to follow through. What did you do with all your 'stuff' when you sold your house? give it away, sell it or stuff it in storage? I'm a bit of a hoarder and haven't moved in 24 years, so...

Bummer. Mine's way worse, I'm sure. I was just checking out Rare Spares in Aus. today. Looking for parts for my pig, but they had this piece for a 75 I think. Not sure if they ship to the U.S. though.

Just to be contrary, leave it bare. With the 80/20 and adjusting things, you risk chipping the powder coating every time you move things around. Leave it bare and spend the $250 on beer for the craftsman who helped you build it.

Roll the window down, stand on the door/window sill, should be able to reach it from there and toss it to the ground. Just make sure it doesn't roll away from you when you do it...

How's the light output from the reverse lights in the bumper? Looks like your original reverse lights are completely blocked by the swing-out spindles.

What about sticking it up on the front of the Alu-Cab, over the top of the Alu-Cab logo? 3M VHB tape.

I rolled mine across some scales on the side of the highway last summer, and it was 4940 lbs, with a full tank of fuel and just me and my mountain bike (roughly 210 lbs) on-board. I've got a 5'x7' roof rack, with shovel, hi-lift, and polaski mounted on it too.

Thanks for the reply on the cooler box assembly, I'd be interested to see an under dash picture when you have the vehicle back again. On the tire note, I think a spare tire on or off the rim takes up about the same space, so I'd have it mounted on the rim, although off the rim would be lighter...

Did you integrate the 'cooler unit assembly' into the under-dash area and keep your stock heater? Does it replace an existing portion of the ducting?

Do you have the instrument cluster that has a tach? What kind of rpms are you turning at 87mph? What gears do you have 4.11? or 3.73? Sorry for the barrage of questions. Dan
