Instead of posting up on MUD, have you thought about addressing the concerns and issues with the shop that did the work?

These parts are not available. Long discontinued. Megazip generally does not have any real time information; only historical information. Only available part is the front vinyl section. The rest you have to source from later trucks and make fit.

There is only one shop to trust with your transmission assembly. Remove your trans/xfer and put it on a pallet and send it to Georg at Valley Hybrids. @orangefj45 A week to ten days later or so it returns and it’s golden for another 25 years.

Synchros. You need to rebuild the transmission. Guaranteed. You are driving a 25+ year old truck that’s been hammered on before you got it. None of this is rocket science. Don’t delude yourself into thinking you got a diamond….

You need to get the EWD if you are going to start playing with wiring.

Don’t guess. Do the correct testing. Compression/leak down/chemical dye.

What did you do about the hole in the knuckle and spindle differences? Kinda important. And yes, you should be able to put shims in no problem.

That's incorrect. You need the correct birfields with one snap groove. OEM never came with 2 snap grooves. Call Cruiser Outfitters or Valley Hybrids and get the correct birfs.

You need to provide them with an HS-7. They then send to Plano to parts analysts and the part gets released. You need to create a relationship with a parts dept who will do this for you.

You didn’t have to get that from Japan. It’s available here in the US from any Toyota parts dept. About $230.

No. They are the same for all 1FZ family engines throughout the entire production run globally.

Belts are stupid cheap from Toyota. 90916-02353-83 (2 belt set) 99332-10910-83 (if you have AC). I'd also change the idler pulley: 16604-66010 and the AC pulley: 88440-26090 Again, all available globally.
