   Battery light came on.

   I didn't realize we had options. I would go with the higher amp option assuming it is a direct fit replacement. Are you buying aftermarket? What brand?

   Right on, sounds like you are on the right track. The replacement isn't too bad, I think I wiggled mine out from underneath with a bit of patience. I recall the wire harness being a pain in the ass to not bust off but it's all do-able.

   What voltage did your OBD2 provide? Report back after checking voltage at the battery with the engine off, and on..... before throwing parts at it.
