   The Christmas tree and reverse lights are fed through EC1 (the larger of the two connectors above the started). Clean that out and they'll work.

   New engine harness, now won’t start

   IIRC, a rapidly flashing MIL signals an ECM fault. Here's the troubleshooting section. FWIW, all the engine troubleshooting procedures are in the Engine/Mechanical/Troubleshooting section of the FSM.
