   Trash old alternator?

   At this point in time in US history, I'm not throwing any part away. Just imagine that 30yrs from now, you'll need another alternator and they're NLA, and you'll be kicking yourself for throwing away a perfectly good rebuildable core! I'm exaggerating a bit, but I'm big on replacing with OEM...
