What did you do on your 70 series today?

I was able to get both ecus, auto and full wiring harness with all accessories. More than likely will go full standalone engine management to support F.I. Being a 60* V over the 1vds 90*, it should fit quite easily. By all accounts, the engine is close to a 700mm (27.5") cube. Length should be...

Yeah I rate the King shocks highly. Had them valved for my weight from new. Got 140k on them, no issues. They really shine in the corrugations and rough stuff at speed. It happily sits on 100km/h and stays planted. No shock fade either. They will probably get serviced at 200k.

What did you do on your 70 series today?

Hoist is getting a workout. Getting very close to its rated capacity. Quick engine oil and filter change. I also gave the rear end a bit of lovin, I am quite impressed with the quality of the Terrain Tamer parts. Time will tell if they last longer than the oem rears.

The rig went in for a quick tune/remap 2day. Just a mild tune to get things moving. Anyone want to guess what it was standard @ the wheels. Factory numbers are 151kw/202hp and 430nm/317ft lb.

What did you do on your 70 series today?

Pulled the intake to do a manifold clean. The amount of filthy black goo was unbelievable. This engine has only done 65k kms. All nice and clean. The job took about 7hrs all up. I found a mixture of oven cleaner and degreaser to work best. Everything was pulled down to the heads. Egr was...

I like the top one, but its not a 96. They stopped that design in 94 and went to the Toyota sombrero in 95.

Winch is a Carbon 12000lb by KPD industries. Came with a 5 year water ingress/electrical warranty, lifetime mechanical warranty and good reviews. I dont think it was overloaded but I was trying to winch over rolled 76 series in soft sand. They are going to send over a upgraded HD gear setup...
